Steve Constantine Liollio, 88, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, in Houston, Texas.
He was born on December 26, 1926 on the beautiful Greek Island of Skopelos and proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Steve had a passion for ranching, gardening and beekeeping, but most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
He met his lovely wife, Titika, in Houston, Texas and they were married for over 58 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Constantine and Andromache Liollio, brothers George, Angelo and Demetrios Liollio and sister Angeliki Gioldasis. He is survived by his wife, Titika, sister Vasiliki Paraskakis, son Constantine Liollio and wife Angie, daughters Georgia Stuart, Andrea Das and husband Micky and grandchildren Steve, Stephanie, and Sophia Liollio, Blake and Reid Stuart, and Tommy, Andrew, and Amy Das.
Steve’s bold spirit will live on through his dear and loving wife, children and grandchildren.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Friday, September 11 at nine o’clock in the morning with the funeral service immediately following at ten o’clock at The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 3511 Yoakum Boulevard in Houston.
Steve will be laid to rest on Friday, September 11, at half-past eleven o’clock in the morning at Houston National Cemetery.
