Sherrie will be missed, she was a very sweet lady

Linda vasquez, Magnolia, Tx

Sherre you were a shining light in my life for many years! Thanks for all the laughter and teardrops we shared. You and Tom gave me the most wonderful gift I ever received, David Bowie Waters, now known as Bo-Bo. I guess you spent just enough time with him to teach him how to be kind, sweet, and gentle just like you! You will be so deeply missed, but when the sun peeks through the clouds, I know it will be you checking on all of us. I promise to check on your Renaissance Man every now and then! I will love you always.

Sherre changed my life in ways I'll never be able to repay or truly explain. Please know that she was so loved and cherished, a remarkable human being, a total lady and a real cut up. I knew her from the horse world, and will always think of her in a golf cart with a Corgi!! God speed Sherre - you're soaring over us with the angels now. Loved you, Lynda T

Sherre Sims passed away at home on Sunday, November 8, 2015, at the age of 53. Sherre was born in Seymour, Texas, graduated from Wellesley High School, in Wellesley, Massachusetts, and attended Oklahoma University.
Sherre was passionate about horses all of her life and that became her career - riding, training horses, and teaching students of all ages. Sherre was a member of the American Hunter Jumper Association. An avid competitor herself, she and her students at her Rendezvous Farm brought home many winning ribbons nationally. Sherre touched many lives with her brilliant smile and positive attitude teaching life skills as well as horsemanship. She had an amazing ability to communicate with horses.
Sherre is survived by her husband, Tom; her mother and father, Giva and Gary Frashier; her sister, Kellie Rodenbeck, nieces Nicki Williams, Carlye Rodenbeck, and nephew, Caleb Rodenbeck; her brother Brian Frashier and nephews Tommy and Daniel Frashier; her sister Kathleen Peardot and niece Kelli Flanagan and nephew Kevin Flanagan; and her sister Denise Angeletti and niece Sienna Angeletti and nephew Rhys Angeletti; and her three stepsons, Ryan, Eric, and Stuart Sims.
A celebration of Sherre’s life will be held Monday, November 16, 2015, at the Bradshaw-Carter Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at two o’clock in the afternoon followed by a service at three o’clock and a reception following the service. An internment service will be held at St. Helena’s Episcopal Church in Boerne, Texas, Friday, November 27. 2015, at Eleven o’clock in the morning.
In lieu of customary remembrances, contributions, in Sherre's memory, may be directed to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, P.O. Box 4486 Houston, Texas 77210-4486.
