I very much regret this huge loss and feeling the pain his family are going through, I want to share the hope that very soon "will be a resurrection from God", as the Bible tells us in Acts 24:15. Courage and strength to all your family at this painful time. ww.JW.org

Dearest Kathryn and David, It is with the most heavy heart I say....Patrick was blessed to have you as parents and Kevin and Sarah as siblings. I know your love for him was deep, unconditional and will last a life time. May the prayers that surround you help you feel God's love and grace. May He bless you with strength, acceptance, understanding and much, much peace. Sending my love and prayers...

Luz Elena Chapa, San Antonio, Texas

For whatever reason or purpose, the Lord Jesus gives life and it is His to take away. In that alone we can take comfort. Knowing full well that Patrick was a child of the living King.....glory to God! We have had the pleasure of knowing Kevin briefly, and rejoice in his faith in the Lord Jesus. Grief is a natural part of life, and everyone deals with it differently. Having been where you are (in losing a son), we can understand a little of what you may be experiencing. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And do not lean on your own understanding." Proverbs 3:5. We are praying for your family! In His love, Betty & Martin

Patterson, Spring, Texas

It is rare to meet a soul as kind and gentle as Patrick. He will live on in those whom he touched. He was a great person to with...intelligent, funny, and honest. If a man is to be judged by what lies in his heart, then Patrick is a truly great man, and now enjoys a seat at the throne of the Lord.

David Swartz, Santa Fe, TX

Dear Corrine,Lee and Green family, I am so deeply sorry for the tragic loss of Patrick. My prayers are with you as you walk this way of the cross. Love, Peggy

Peggy Green, Beaumont, TXDear Corrine and Lee,

Lee, Corinne & Green family, we are so very sorry for your loss. We want you to know that you are in our hearts, our thoughts, & our prayers. May God bless you and may the Blessed Mother wrap you in her arms and present you to her Son, Jesus during your time of sorrow.

Chuck & Mary Gradney, Beaumont, TX

Dear Kathryn and David, I cannot stop thinking about you both as you travel this path. No parent expects to live beyond the life of their child, and from this we share your pain. I do know that you both have deep faith and I hope that this faith will see you through the rough days ahead. In Judaism, we grieve deeply. Each Friday night, our Sabbath, we say the words of a prayer that exalts G-d, and which we use as our time to remember our departed loved ones. I will be thinking of you both each week during this prayer. Jay joins me in sending our deepest condolences to you and your extended families.

Mindy (Gossen) Eisen, Beaumont, TX

I wish I had known Patrick - I will get to do that in Heaven some day - and I haven't gotten to know his Mommy either - but I knew his Daddy - what a good man....I'm just praying for all of you....I know you know the Lord - so I'm trusting our Heavenly Father will see you through this grief....I'm praying for you all to just trust Him to walk you through this difficult time and I know He will help you have that peace and joy that only He can provide...love you all, Vick

Vicki (LePori) Hannigan, Boerne, TX

In the short time that I knew Patrick, I grew to life him as a friend. He was always so easy to talk with. A sort of happy go lucky guy who hugged me and asked me how I was every time I saw him. He genuinely loved to help those around him even if just to share a laugh. Pat will be great missed and forever remembered. Prayers to all his family and friends. Guiding prayers for his safe journey filled with love.

Christie Lerma, Friendswood, tx

Patrick was full of love and genuine kindness. I liked him from the first moment I met him. He had a powerful, earnest faith and didn't hesitate to share it with others. During a time when I was still building the foundation of my own relationship with the creator, he was a friend I could feel comfortable speaking with about spirituality. He smiled often and was quick to laughter. That positive attitude spread the light wherever he went. Patrick has gone on ahead of us but, for those of us fortunate enough to have known him, the ripples of influence from the love and warmth he brought to our world will continue ad infinitum. We are all better for having known him.

To the Green Family. It is with a heavy heart that I send my deepest sympathy and condolences for your families loss. Though Patricks passing feels like a crushing blow, I'll rejoice in the joy his friendship brought. I'll celebrate that his earthly trials are over and he'll never hurt, suffer or worry again now that he sits at our Fathers feet. Patrick was a good man, friend, brother and son and his light will be missed. Prayers for acceptance, peace and serenity are with you.

Todd Deacon , League City , Tx

Our deepest sympathies to your family from ours. Patrick was an older gentler soul who had a great capacity to Love, so much love and although he tried, not enough ways for him to express his love to others, so it seemed. His intelligence never exceeded his humble and gentle nature, a gentle giant one might say. Not long on this earth, his impact has been great ,he shall be missed by many ,but I shall pray not forgotten. May we forgive those who have harmed him. Rest in peace my brother and so his family likewise.

Patrick David Green, 27, died Tuesday, March 24, in Houston, Texas. Born March 25, 1987, Patrick was a soulful man with an appreciation for music, the San Antonio Spurs, reading, film and photography. Above all, his faith in God formed his unshakeable foundation for his loving friendships, calm demeanor and humble presence.
It is evident that his formative summers at Laity Lodge Youth Camp fostered a relationship with Jesus Christ which has finally reached eternal fulfillment with his passing. His love for the arts led him to earn a B.A. from Baylor University in 2009 in Film and Digital Media. He later returned to Laity Lodge as a media team member where he captured the many moments of God’s love and grace for others to share and cherish.
Patrick is survived by his parents, David and Kathryn, siblings Kevin and Sarah, and grandparents Lee and Corinne Freeland and Leah Green.
The family will receive visitors on Sunday, March 29, 2015, from two o’clock until five o’clock in the evening with a rosary at four o’clock at The Bradshaw-Carter Home, 1734 W. Alabama St, Houston, Texas, 77098. Memorial Mass will be conducted on Monday, March 30, 2015 at ten o’clock in the morning at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 3100 Sweetwater Blvd, Sugarland, Texas, 77479.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in Patrick’s memory may be directed to LLYC Scholarships, checks made payable to Friends of HEBFF or online at memory@hebff.org, or to the Bay Area Recovery Center Alumni Association, 4316 Washington, Dickinson, Texas, 77539, note in memory of Patrick Green.
