Michael Thomas McCauley of Wilmington N.C. went to be with Our Lord on April 12, 2016. He was born on March 18, 1969, in Houston, Texas. He graduated from St. Anne Catholic School, St. Thomas High School ’87, and the University of New Mexico ’91 spending a year studying abroad in Spain. He was preceded in death by his father, Buddy McCauley; his sister, Kathy McCauley Munchausen; and his grandparents, Frank and Marie McGinn and “Mac” and Nell McCauley. He is survived by his mother, Patricia McGinn McCauley; his daughter Zoe Francis Moore McCauley and her mother Cam Moore; his brothers Scott (Kim), Brian (Catherine), Kevin (Stacy), Chris, and Tim (Paige) McCauley; and his sister Erin (Juan) Mireles; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. The visitation will be held at seven o’clock in the evening on Friday, April 15, 2016, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2120 Westheimer Road. The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016, at one o’clock in the afternoon at St. Anne Catholic Church. Memorial donations may be made to the F.R. “Buddy” McCauley Scholarship Fund at St. Thomas High School, 4500 Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77007.
