Ann Rasch, League City, TX

Mary Ann Coyne Pack, 75, died on May 24, 2015, of cancer.
Mary Ann was born on June 11, 1939 in Wheeling, West Virginia. She graduated from St. Agnes Academy in Houston, and attended the University of St. Thomas. She was married to Michael A. Pack with whom she would have celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary in August.
Mary Ann was quite active for 25 years in Houston’s fundraising community, helping to raise funds for building construction, faculty endowments, and many other projects at Rice University, The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and The Menil Collection.
Her beloved parents were Patrick J. Coyne and Dorothy M. Coyne. She is survived by her three sons, Michael Pack, Jr. of Houston, Christopher Pack of San Antonio, and Shawn Pack of Houston, and by her daughter-in-law, Anne Pack of San Antonio; also by her sister Patricia Winger of St. Joe, Michigan, sister Rose Mary Porter of Fishdale, Massachusetts, and brother Joseph Coyne of West Middlesex, Pennsylvania. Mary Ann and Mike had three grandchildren, Nobel and Dylan Pack of Houston and Mallory Pack of San Antonio.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening on Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Bradshaw-Carter Home, 1734 West Alabama Street in Houston, where recitation of the Holy Rosary will commence at half-past six o’clock.
The funeral Mass will be held at half-past eleven o’clock in the morning on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 6800 Buffalo Speedway in Houston. A reception at the church will follow immediately. Burial will follow the reception at Glenwood Cemetery, 2525 Washington Avenue in Houston.
