To family & friends, I am sorry for your loss. May you all rely on God for strength during this time. (Psalms 46:1)

John - so sorry to hear about your loss. Both Marie and Ruby where a major influence in my soccer palying days. Great people to be around and allways there for any of us! May she rest in peace...

Doug, You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers as you deal with your mother's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that the many memories you have of her wonderful life, and all she meant to so many, will help sustain you during this difficult time.

Dr. Harris, Doug and John, I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Harris' passing. She was such a huge part of my young life and played a major role in what I am today. I learned so much from her (including the love of eating her great cooking). And I owe her so much and hope to repay by passing it along (except for the great cooking part).

Coleman Tucker, Oakland, CA

To Rudy, John and Doug, Peggy and I are saddened by the loss of Marie. Our memories of her have been shared in the past 24 hours with our sons and some of our Goldstar former players. Marie and Rudy were instrumental in bringing some fine young men together. The stories about her are remembered as if they happened yesterday. I count this to be grandly true: That Marie's noble deeds are her steps toward God. In loving memory, Ben & Peggy Midulla

To Rudy, Doug, John & Barbara. She was such a dear, loving person. Our prayers are with you all. Her memories will live in all our hearts as she affected so many. She will be greatly missed.

John and Doug our Deepest Condolences. Its sad that we live so far. Our own health is not the best. We think of you all but we have our problems as age catches up to us. Please let your father know that we are thinking of him and love him. I don't think I can make it. She will be deeply missed. May her memory be eternal. Please from time to time keep in touch. Love to all and good health. George S. Zaharoolis and family.
