Louise “Lou” DeGeorge passed away on April 8, 2014 in her home with her husband and two daughters at her side after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

She was born in Houston, Texas on December 17, 1947 to Katherine Tusa Todaro and Tony Victor Todaro. She attended Holy Name Catholic School, Incarnate Word Academy and The University of Houston. She met Joseph “Joe” DeGeorge at a Newman Club dance while attending U of H. They married at Annunciation Catholic Church on August 3, 1969 and had two daughters. Lou was a devoted mother spending all her time taking care of her girls and volunteering at St. Thomas More Catholic School and Saint Agnes Academy. She enjoyed traveling and playing tennis. Her longtime dream was to become a grandmother and it brought her great joy to have four beautiful grandchildren.

Lou is preceded in death by her parents Katherine and Tony Todaro. She is survived by her husband Joe, daughters Katherine Macey and husband Bill, Kristina Drone and husband Tim, grandchildren Isabella and Christopher Drone, Billy and Sarah Macey. She is further survived by her sister Kathy Weido and husband Vince. The family wishes to thank Dr. Paul Schulz for his continuous support and Evangela Steptoe for her most loving care of “Mama” during the last three years. Memorial Mass to be held on Tuesday, April 15th at Annunciation Catholic Church at ten o’clock in the morning.
