So sorry to hear of Lonna's passing. Alzheimer's is a horrible disease that sucks the life right out of you, and Lonna was so full of life; She always looked forward to their hunting and fishing trips. I know she had struggled with Alzheimer's for quite some time.. Peace to her and to her loved ones.

I knew Lonna from Stewart Title. She always put a smile on my face. I never worked with Lonna in the plant; however; she did help direct my career on the escrow side of the title business. My condolences for your loss. I am glad she is at peace.

Lonna Pitman passed away April 16, 2016 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born on October 28, 1945 to Lonnie and Pauline Lewis in Texarkana, Texas, the youngest of eight children. Lonna is predeceased by her parents and her loving husband, David Pitman. She will be especially missed by her daughter, Jo Ann Burton of Arkansas, her sister, Johnnie Tschosik, and her many nieces and nephews with whom she liked to swim, fish, and take on exciting excursions. The family would like to thank the staff at Colonial Oaks and Acura Hospice for their loving care of Lonna.

Lonna was a Sr. Vice President at Stewart Title when she retired in 2009 after twenty-one years of service. She was an avid sportswoman and an animal lover.

There will be a public visitation on Wednesday evening, April 20, 2016, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Bradshaw Carter Funeral Home at 1734 W. Alabama St. to celebrate Lonna’s life. A private burial will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2016.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
