Tommy, we can not express enough the feeling Jan and I have for your family today. We know June was one great lady, and Jan always commented that June was one of the first people to reach out to her when she started coming to the BMC meetings. Great Southern women like June, and my own mother from Shreveport LA are very special women. She will be missed, but we know her memory will live on. Keep you chin up and if we can do anything for you, just let me know.

Tommy Ron and Family. She was a great lady. I enjoyed knowing her for the last 30 years. My fondest memory was your trip to the Derby and eating in our 5 star Waffle House in Louisville. My thoughts and prayers are with you these days and I look forward to conveying my sympathies in person. So sorry I can't be there with you. Love Harry

So sorry to hear about June. My family and I spent many wonderful summer vacations around our BMC share group. It was always nice to have Tommy and June in attendence. She was such a gracious lady.My family will miss her. John L Woods

June Lott died peacefully in her sleep on January 22, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. June was the daughter of Walter and Tressie Ruyle. She was born April 11, 1931 in Houston, Texas. She is survived by her husband Tommy Lott, her son Ron Lott and his wife Gay, her daughter Sandy Lewis and her husband Jerome, her grandsons Tony, Matt, and Joel Arredondo, and three great-grandchildren, Brayden, Talon, and Cruz.

June graduated from Pasadena High School at the age of 16. She began her career as a secretary for the Oil Chemical and Atomic Workers Union. When her husband Tommy started Lott Marketing, she joined the firm and made a major contribution to its success.

June loved to cook. While she was an expert at traditional southern foods, she also had a life-long passion for trying new recipes.
She loved to travel and with her husband Tommy, she visited every continent and many countries. We will all miss her unique sense of humor and stories of their trips. She was the epitome of strong, adventuresome and opinionated. June was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Being with her family and friends brought her the greatest joy.

A visitation will be held from four o'clock until seven o'clock in the evening on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at the Bradshaw-Carter Home, 1734 West Alabama Street, Houston, Texas 77098. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at ten o'clock in the morning on Monday, January 27, 2014 at First Presbyterian Church, 5300 Main Street, Houston, Texas 77004. A reception will follow at the church. Burial will be held at half past three o'clock in the afternoon on Monday, January 27, 2014 at Mount Hope Cemetery, Wells, Texas.

In lieu of customary remembrances, donations in June's memory may be directed to First Presbyterian Church, 5300 Main Street, Houston, Texas 77004, the Hermann Park Conservancy, 6201 Hermann Park Drive, Houston, Texas 77030, or the charity of one's choice .
