My condolences. John was such a kind person that always thought about others before himself. What a big loss for everyone whose lives he touched

Randy Archuleta , Cypress, Ca

I enjoyed the events that we went to that John was at. He always had a smile and could make people laugh. You are loved and will be remembered. Prayers to Brian and your family. Love, peace and PRIDE, Laura and Jenny Seifert

Deepest sympathies to Brian Flores and the family of John Danielson for the loss of a truly great community leader and friend. John was a rare breed who gave freely of his time and resources to the community that he loved. His warm smile and effervescent personality was priceless. From the first day I met John, I felt close to him - that's just the kind of man he was ... welcoming, inclusive and loving. Sincere and modest, John and Brian were the perfect hosts at the dozens of gatherings they hosted each year. I will truly miss this great man whom I admire. Good bye sweet John, you will be missed and remembered ... Brian & Branden

Brian Reeves & Branden Kuzmick, Houston, TX

To Brian and the Danielson family I first met John when TransCanada sent several of us from the Calgary office to Houston to set up that site on our accounting systems. He always had a huge welcoming smile on his face and liked to tease us about our Canadian accent "Eh!". Brian, I enjoyed seeing youand John at the 25th anniversary party last year. I think you were such a great loving couple. Please accept my heartfelt condolences and prayers.

Anne Marie Myers, Calgary, AB

John Andreas Danielson III passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, the 13th of September 2014. John was born on the 5th of September 1959, in Waterville, Washington. He received his diploma from Waterville High School and graduated from Eastern Washington University with a degree in accounting. John always returned to his hometown of Waterville to visit his family, work on the family wheat ranch, and help his beloved mother. He resided in Houston for over 30 years and was employed by TransCanada which recently honored him in Calgary, Canada for 25 years of outstanding and dedicated service.

John was preceded in death by his father, John A. Danielson Jr.; his mother, Lillian Grace Lenderman; his brother, Jerry Danielson; and his beloved pets, Ginger, Buckles and Rio. John is survived by his siblings, Jim Danielson, Melanie Danielson-Hayes; brother-in-law Marc Hayes; niece Kimberly Danielson; and nephews, Eric Danielson, Austin Hayes and Peyton Hayes; and his loving partner, Brian R. Flores.

John considered Houston his home and found the time to support over 30 community organizations by his involvement as either a board member, officer or volunteer. John and his partner often opened their home in historic Westmoreland for fundraising to support the many organizations and charities that called upon his support.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from two o’clock until five o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 27th of September, at the Bradshaw-Carter Home, 1734 W. Alabama Street in Houston, where a formal program with remarks will be conducted at three o’clock.

In lieu of customary remembrances, contributions, in John’s name, may be directed to All Texas Dachshund Rescue, PO Box 841336, Pearland, TX, 77584.
