Frank Fisher Reynolds, Jr., passed away January 13, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Fisher Reynolds and Hazel Anderson Reynolds, and his sister, Jane Reynolds Lindsey. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Suzanne Linbeck Reynolds, his five children, Frank Fisher Reynolds, III and wife Maria, Rev. Stephen Bartlett Reynolds, Kent Linbeck Reynolds and wife Alissa, Suzanne “Muffet” Reynolds Laine and husband Matthew, and Andrea Leigh Reynolds; twelve grandchildren, Fisher Reynolds IV, Kayla Reynolds and fiancé Justin Tompkins, Stephen Reynolds, Carmen Reynolds, Rebecca Reynolds, Virginia Reynolds, Thomas Reynolds, Reid Laine, John Reynolds, Caroline Laine, Matthew Laine Jr. and Charles Laine; brothers, Norman Reynolds and wife Sally, Richard Reynolds and wife Susie; brother-in-law, William Lindsey; sisters-in-law, Poppy Doyle and husband Peter, Bette Linbeck, Joleen Reynolds, Judy Brand; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends.

Born September 1, 1936 in Houston, Texas, Fisher attended River Oaks Elementary School, St. John’s School (class of 1954) and The Rice Institute (BA 1959, BS 1960). He served two years in the United States Army Corps of Engineers before returning to Houston.

His Christian faith began at St. John the Divine Church. He entered the Catholic Church prior to his engagement to his wife, Suzanne. He was a long time member of St. Anne and Holy Rosary Parishes.

Above all, Fisher was an outstanding model of a Christian husband and father who was dedicated to his wife and children. His strong faith provided a foundation of values that were passed on to his children and grandchildren. Nothing ever interfered with the attention he gave to his family. Many hours were spent attending sports functions, scouting and Indian Princess events and piano recitals.

He was a member of the Knights of the Holy Sepulchre, the Knights of Malta, the Serra Club, Sarabande, Allegro and the River Oaks Country Club.

The family would like to thank his daughter, Andrea, and Dr. Elias Jabbour and the entire M.D. Anderson staff for their devotion to him and to his care during the past five years.

Visitation will be at 6:00 p.m. January 16, 2014 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2140 Westheimer with the Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. and reception to follow in the Parish Hall. The Rite of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 17, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 1111 St. Joseph Parkway with principle Celebrant Rev. Stephen Bartlett Reynolds. Rite of Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale.
