Our thoughts and prayers go out to doug and his family: What a wonderful and funny person: I am so glad that he is not in any pain anymore. All my Best, Dr. Troy Premeaux, Montrose Patient Advocates of Houston:

Troy Premeaux, Houston, TEXAS

Good morning, as many of our texts started. I am going to miss you and your Jedi sense of when to just say hi. I will truly miss you and our friendship. I will always remember our road trips as you were sent as my protector. You are now my for real protector, watching over me. Take care my friend. We started as just co-workers but ended up being real friends. Much love to you and even more love and light to those who you left behind, especially Dean and your mom.

Nicole Lee, Atlanta, GA

I am going to miss our friendship. Thank for being my friend, and for all the good advice you have given me over the years. God speed my friend and God Bless. RIP Doug.

Michael Ramirez, San Antonio, TX

Doug was a huge supporter of our teams. He came to watch his husband Dean, but ended up supporting us all. Most days we played he was in the stands. His pressence will be greatly missed. We wish Dean and his family our deepest condolences.

Houston CubCakes and Surfers, Houston, TX

My heart is sad, and I don't understand why you had to leave us. You will be missed!

Tammy Bolton, Corpus Christi , Tx

I have been so blessed to know Doug. I met Doug and Dean on a cruise several years ago and we fell in love. I am so sorry for Dean, his Mom and his family for their loss. He will always be in my memory.

Elena Nordmeyer, Norphlet, ar

As much as we needed you, heaven needed you more. You always showed concern and love for others. The love you showed for Dean was something I hope to have one day. I will miss you my gentle giant.

David Warren, Houston, TX

Said a prayer for you and yours, may God grant strength to everyone during this time of sorrow...you leave behind so many sweet memories....memories that will last forever, you were truly one of a kind...rest in peace Dougie....

Mirna Diaz, Jacksonville, Texas

While we are mourning the loss of our friend, we must not forget that friends come into our lives and friends leave our lives but never leave our hearts. As long as you can remember someone, they will be with you.

Russ & Kevin, Dallas, TX

You were a good, kind friend with a great sense of humor! With everything you had going on in your life from medical to business - you always took the time to check up on me at least once a week just to see how I was doing. I never told you how much I appreciated that. I will miss you so much Doug - I have truly lost a great friend...

Scott Armstrong, Rosharon, TX

It breaks my heart that you left this world. You were a great friend and someone I considered a member of my family. My heart is still hurting. I am going to miss you dearly, my friend. Rest in peace. Love you
