I would like to express my deepest sorrow for the lost of your dear loved one. The pain, grief, and the feelings of helplessness can seem unbearable. At such times, we need to go to God's word for comfort. Please take your Bible and look at what God promises for the future with regard to our dead loved ones. ( John 5: 28,29 , Acts 24:15 ) Yes, God really will defeat our enemy forever. This will enable us to one day have the hope of seeing our dead loved ones again. I hope this message will be a source of comfort to you. If you have any questions feel free to contact one of Jehovah's Witnesses or log on to our website at JW.org. Sincerely yours, JW

We were so saddened to hear the terrible news. Our prayers are with the family. Our deepest sympathies. May her memory be eternal.

Christy & Angelo Magoulas, Houston, Tx

I am so saddened beyond all else that Diana is no longer with us. She would always get mad when I would videotape her going back to the time in the hall during the festival when she was little. She would say nooo and try to hide from me. When she was older, I'd tell I'm gonna put her on FB and she'd put her finger in my face " If you ever do that .......". Can't say the rest, it was our thing. I remember the time Dean and I took her shopping at IKEA and helped her move into her new apartment. It felt good. Fresh start. We had a great day. I remember when I took her shopping at Costco for groceries once and when she would see something she wanted she'd say,is this ok? On that trip she could get whatever she wanted. The basket was full. It made me feel good. I remember our movie trips to Marque and eating at Red Robin. I remember alot of things and I am so sad I won't be able to share special times with her again. She is with God now at peace and she will always have a special place in my heart.

Jimmy, Houston, Tx

Diana Elyse Lioliou, born December 10, 1993, in Houston, Texas is now in the arms of our loving Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She left us much too soon on December 5th just shy of her 23rd birthday.
Diana was a brilliant artist. She had several displays of her art and everyone that saw them soon became mesmerized by her incredible talent. She could draw anything and people would ask her to create something for them to display. Art was her escape, and her pieces will always be a reminder of the beautiful talent and blessing she was. Diana loved and cherished her big Greek family and adored being around all of them. She welcomed anyone that needed her with open arms.
We thank you, Diana, for always being there when we needed you. We thank you for your unconditional love and your beautiful smile. We will love you forever and always.
Diana was and always will be a loving daughter to Maria Colwick and Dean Lioliou, step daughter to Chris Colwick, and a very important person to Sam Dutherage. She was a doting, faithful sister to Nicole, Victoria, and especially Gracie. Gracie and Diana shared a special bond; they understood each other. She enjoyed spending time with her grandmother Despina Fikaris; her aunts and uncles Sheila and Harry Fikaris; Julie and Jimmy Fikaris; Vicky and Michael Fikaris; Kathy Sutton; Spyro Tzoumakelis; Anna Payavla; Karen and Dimitri Payavla; Callie Payavla and Marcus Payavla. She also adored her cousins John and Rachel Fikaris, their children Luke and Ellie, John Peppercorn, Stephanie Fikaris and daughter Dani, Katie Fikaris, Nicholas Payavla, James Sutton, Eleni Fikaris, and Vasili Fikaris.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral Youth Ministries in memory of Diana Lioliou (3511 Yoakum Blvd. 77006).
