Dear Mandy, I am so sorry to hear of the news of Chris's passing. He was truly a gentleman with a heart of gold. We loved getting to know him at the gym. He was always smiling when he came in. I can only imagine how heavy your heart is. Know we are thinking of you and the children. May his memory always be a blessing. Sincerely, Lisa and Randy

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Chris. He was a fine man who often spoke of how fortunate he was to have a wonderful wife and children. He was a special person with a big heart. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Bobby Warren, San Marcos , TX

I had the privilege of knowing Chris since his pre-teen years and being close to the family during his "travels" through his teens and twenties and seeing him emerge into the fine man he became. Dedicated to his family and a compassionate, caring, productive member of society. Chris was one of the good guys, one of the best who left us way too soon. He will live on in our memories of him, many happy, some quirky, and a few sad. We will miss you Chris.

Bob Steffey, Salt Lake City, Utah

..20 years ago I walked into your gym, you gave me a job, you gave me a place to belong and you gave me your friendship. For that I will be eternally grateful. I know you are up in heaven looking down and spotting me on every lift. I can see your presence in your sons smile and your daughters eyes, you will forever be with all of the many people who's lives you touched. God bless you and God bless Mandy and your family.

Michael Chestney, San Antonio, Texas

No words can describe what a man Chris was? May Mandy and kids, family receive strength friom almighty God. Chris will forever be in our thoughts and hearts. He was a great man who will take off his shirt for anyone.... We miss u Chris!

Bruce family , Missouri City, Tx

I had the privilege to work with Chris in AL and TX, and more importantly I had the honor to be called his friend. Although Chris worked for me, I am quite positive he provided me much more leadership, motivation and guidance than I was ever able to provide him. He was talented, professional and quite simply a joy to be around... Over the years Katie and I were blessed to become good friends with Chris and Mandy with numerous memories we will forever treasure. I hope I can one day be a friend to others, like Chris was to me and if faced with life's challenges have the guts, attitude and awesomeness to face adversity like Chris Pamphilis. Love always to Mandy, Charlie and Catherine.

Jason & Katie Smith, Tampa, FL

My condolences and deepest sympathy to Chris's immediate and extended family.

Frank Rodriguez, Houston, Tx

Chris and I have had the pleasure of working together for many years. He was a true friend, and a leader. Chris lived life by example and was a natural leader in how others should look to live. He fought a good fight and stayed positive even though his illness. My thoughts and prayers go to the Pamphilis family. May God give you comfort knowing that Chris is still alive in Heaven.

The O'Shello Family, Baton Rouge, LA

I had the privilege to call Chris not only a friend or a boss, but a mentor! I met him when I was 18-19 years old at his gym Club 360! He gave me a job when I was looking for one, included me in the powerlifting team he had, and also took me out on the weekend shenanigans; and I must say we had fun! I also worked with him at verizon wireless for a short time! We lost contact for about 13 years and just reunited on FB and had calls and text messages since September! Wish we could've met up one last time like we talked but now he's watching over all of us! You are missed brother! Love ya!

Greg Castro , San Antonio , Tx

I did not know Chris personally, but I feel like I know him through Brian and Michelle C. SO, I have no doubt he was an outstanding person! I am sorry for your loss but so happy for your precious time with him. Wishing all his family and friends comfort.

Andy and I feel so blessed that we were able to get to know Chris early on when he began his life with Mandy. We know that he was a perfect match for her and will be missed by all who loved and knew him. His smile was contagious and he embraced all that life had to offer, no matter the circumstances. He was an inspiration of faith and endurance. Prayers for continued strength for those he left behind... Love and sympathy.

Christopher "Chris" Pamphilis, born October 29, 1968 in Morristown N.J.

On February 28, 2015, Heaven gained an angel as Christopher “Chris” Pamphilis left his earthly body at the age of 46. He was a devoted husband, dedicated father, gracious son, caring brother, dependable uncle and loyal friend. Chris's courage and strength inspired others to live life fully, to be better and to strive for greatness. His faith was unwavering, demonstrating that trust and devotion brings absolute peace.

Chris graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Recreational Administration. An entrepreneur by heart, he had the ability to fulfill many of his dreams. One in particular, his love for fitness. He opened two gyms and hosted many power-lifting competitions in which he participated. Later, he moved into the wireless industry where he worked in sales at all levels of management for last 14 years. The last quarter of his career was at the top of the charts awarding him with the #1 spot in his division. His work ethic and tenacity was acknowledged and respected by everyone who knew him.
Chris will be remembered for his honesty, integrity, and helpful nature. He was a gladiator with determination to fight any battle propositioned. Our hearts are heavy as we mourn, but rejoice in the knowledge that Chris is standing with God our Father looking down upon us all. His legacy will continue and may his memory be eternal!

Chris is predeceased by Nicholas C. Pamphilis; grandparents Stamatoula and Kosta Pamphilis and Sophia and Chris Carafas.
