Chris and Lisa. I am sorry to hear of your loss. Know Betty Lesikar is walking with good health and confidence in her Godly gifts where she went. Your Mother's strength stands out. As one of my woman mentors I knew her as a smart good woman. Only a couple of women in my life mark that "Good, Smart, Strong" achievement. I remember her well. For such a nice Lady to invite this unruly youngster as guest to her lovely home in Memorial Park? I love "Mrs. Lesikar" for her easy Grace. You had as your Mother a great great woman. The memory of Betty Lesikar, with her red-haired good looks, and her evocative Texas drawl mixed with ample portions of Brit, is everlasting in my heart mind and soul. Harry Merrill.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death of Mrs. Betty Lesikar. I had worked with her for just a very short period of time, but the time was a privilege to know her. With great personal sorrow, I ask to share your loss and to extend my heartfelt. sympathy. Sincerely, Mr. and Mrs. Terry G. Libbra

Betty faithfully volunteered at The Guild Shop for over 20 years and 4 times per week. She is lovingly remembered by the volunteers, staff and her many loyal customers. We are so blessed that she chose us to spend time with and share her humor, friendship and lively spirit! We love and miss her.

Bill and I are very sorry for your loss. We were blessed to have dear Betty as our neighbor and friend. She welcomed us to Houston and started a very dear friendship. We especially admired her dedication to her work at The Guild Shop. We enjoyed her spirited personality, humor and friendship whether it was a casual chat in her kitchen or a fun New Year's celebration. We will miss her. We send you our prayers and sincere condolences, Libby and Bill Beckenbaugh

So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I wish I had the words to lessen the pain but only time can do that. Stay strong and be the person she believed in. Do that and she will always be with you.
